About seasonal nails

Seasonal nails are the easiest way to make a manicure feel current without chasing every trend. The idea is simple: the colors, finishes and small details change with the calendar. Fall leans on brown, burgundy, olive and burnt orange. Winter brings deep red, forest green, snow white and a little gold or silver. Spring is the time for soft pink, lilac and sheer milky shades, and summer goes bright with coral, aqua and clean white.

On this page you will find our seasonal guides grouped by time of year and by occasion, including Christmas, New Year, Valentine's Day, Easter and the Fourth of July. Each guide is organized by nail shape and length, because a design that looks great on long coffin nails does not always translate to a short natural nail. If you already know your shape, open the Nail Matcher, choose the occasion and let it filter the designs for you.

A practical tip: plan your seasonal set about a week before the event. That gives you time to book a salon slot or order press-ons, and a fresh manicure photographs best in the first few days. If you prefer one set that carries you through a whole season, pick a deep neutral such as burgundy in winter or a sheer pink in spring and add one small accent nail.
